A photo of the Dale Chihuly glass sculpture from the Hotel Bellaggio ceiling was scanned in and then printed on silk charmeuse fabric to create the body for this piece. It is a contemporary adaptation reminiscent of the Eastern influenced patterning of Byzantine silk brocades.
